This is a collection of blog posts that I have written for a number of different personal development websites. I've reordered them into a more logical sense to make it easier to find the help that you need. Below you will find a selection of comments from my clients. "I often get too involved with what I'm doing right now to be able to sit back and assess where my life is going and what is going wrong. With Paul's guidance, I work out how to slightly tweak the way I live my life and the result is an easier, happier life where I feel in control." "In December 2009 I was recovering from an illness that I am sure was symptomatic of stress and imbalance in my life especially through my job as a public servant. I decided to get myself a life coach and see if I could make some changes. In just six sessions with Paul Bailey, I had enrolled with the Coaching Academy for three coaching qualifications and a practitioners course in NLP; made changes to my work schedule to get more work life (and now study) balance; improved my relationships with my partner and son; and landed a substantial contract for external work that I am sure came from the confidence Paul has helped me find in myself." "I am now on the road to becoming a coach myself with a website, business cards and my first coachee with five more in the wings! I will be forever grateful to Paul who asked the right questions, created the right environment of trust and responsibility to enable me to find the right answers and change my life." "Fantastic coaching with Paul. He makes you think for yourself rather then tell you how to do it. Which is great. I struggled at first with goals and now I can do goals and I always remember to ask myself 'how will i do it'." 1. Language: English. Narrator: Paul G Bailey. Nine-time NBA Champion coach Phil Jackson knows all about being in the spotlight, about high-profile, high-pressure seasons coaching gigantic personalities through adversity and controversy in the middle of a media hothouse in which every move is another headline, another installment in the soap opera. But nothing, not six championships with the Bulls of Michael Jordan, Dennis Rodman, and Scottie Pippen, not three previous championships with the Lakers of Shaq and Kobe, had quite prepared him for the only-in-Hollywood high-wire act of the Lakers' 2003-2004 season. In The Last Season: A Team In Search of Its Soul, Jackson tells the full inside story of the season that proved to be the final ride of this great Lakers dynasty. From its beginnings in the off-season, with the signing of the future Hall-of-Famers Karl Malone and Gary Payton and the enormous expectations it created, and the bombshell news of the felony sexual-assault charges against Kobe Bryant, one of the league's marquee superstars, Jackson describes the many challenges that arose during this turbulent season. Juggling enormous egos with enormous sums at stake, managing difficult relationships and public feuds, facing injuries, contract disputes, and team meltdowns, all in the shadow of the Kobe Bryant trial-slash-media circus, Phil Jackson somehow guided his team through to its fourth NBA Finals in his five years as its coach. There, finally, his team ran out of road, a failure Jackson examines with the same deep honesty and wisdom he brings to bear on the rest of this amazing season. Few seasons in memory can rival this one for drama, and fewer coaches rival Phil Jackson in the ability to write about it with such wisdom and clarity. The combination has produced, in The Last Season, a book of tremendous human drama and timeless appeal, rich in lessons about coaching and about life. 1. Language: English. Narrator: Stephen Hoye. This isn't about grammar or syntax, it's a wakeup call for anyone who wants to write a book. You can attend all the writing conferences you want, but the simple truth is that you can't grow as a writer without actually getting words on a page. This manual is the accumulation of 10 years drafting novels, novellas, short stories, and screenplays, distilled into a short, inspirational guide that should be next to every typewriter. It started off as a response to a Quora post: "How do you write a novel?" Most aspiring-authors never get a shot at the big publishing contract, because they don't finish the first draft. Fear, distractions, whatever. I'll show you how to finish your draft in weeks, not years. I have no superpowers, and yet I regularly spit out 6,000 to 10,000 words when I'm drafting a book. This audiobook will show you how you can, too. It's filled with all the coaching you need to get fired up enough to complete your next creative project fast, whether that's writing a novel, a song, or any other artistic endeavor. The ideas apply to anything artistic, even starting a business. By the way. I wrote the first draft of this book in one day. 1. Language: English. Narrator: Martin McConnell. Traditional performance management processes are often ineffective in increasing workforce engagement and fostering a positive employer-employee relationship. The established method of annually scoring employees against a list of static objectives can make employees feel undervalued and frustrated and can hinder, rather than advance, staff development. Unlocking High Performance shows you how to transform this process to get the best out of your workforce. It presents a new model for performance management based on the three components of planning, cultivation and accountability, and situates this process within the wider aims of promoting work as a healthy relationship between employer and employee rather than a restrictive contract to be complied with. Unlocking High Performance equips you with the tools needed to create clear expectations and goals, deliver feedback effectively, and to develop a culture of coaching rather than criticism. This audiobook also provides practical guidance on how to identify and remove obstacles, effectively manage underperformance, and how to get buy-in for change. Packed with tips, tools and examples from organizations including Vistaprint, NVIDIA and South Dakota State University, this audiobook provides everything needed to design a performance management process which will improve employee experience, help them reach their full potential, and ultimately deliver exceptional business results. 1. High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! Rachid Peter Harkouk (Arabic ) (born May 19, 1956 in Chelsea) is an Anglo-Algerian former footballer. Nicknamed 'Rash the Smash' for his powerful and sometimes wayward shots he is one of the few Algerian players to have enjoyed some success in English football, the only Notts County F. C. player to appear in a World Cup and the first English-born player to play for an African national team at the World Cup. Born in London from an Algerian father and a mother from Yorkshire, Harkouk gave up up playing football altogether at the age of just 16 after being turned down by Fulham. The gazelle-paced attacker scored five goals in a trial game for the club but the coaching staff at Craven Cottage, to the surprise of many including the player, decided not to give him a contract.
